Welcome to the Central Missouri Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals web site. The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is the leading international association for fundraising professionals.Founded in 1960, AFP serves more than 26,000 members in 169 chapters throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Central Missouri Chapter, founded in 1984, is based in Columbia. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month. Our membership continues to grow as our organization works to achieve two primary goals: --foster the development and growth of fundraising professionals; --preserve and promote philanthropy, volunteerism and high ethical standards in the fundraising profession.
